Awarded as the best NGO in organic Farming (2008) by Organic Farmers Association of OFAI for the outstanding contribution to organic farming in Odisha.
The founder of SVA-Shri Jagadish Pradhan has been rewarded with the following awards for his outstanding contribution to agriculture and society through his work with SVA:

“ASHOKA FELLOWSHIP (USA)”, Year 1993- In recognition of the innovative approach to rural development

National
“Professional Excellence Award”, year 2012 by All India Small and medium News Paper Editors council in association with Indian Journalist Union for excellent contribution to rural development.
“PRIDE OF INDIA” instituted by ASHA Memorial Trust, Bhubaneswar, 1998 for his contribution to social work in Odisha and other states.

Regional:
Life time Achievement Award by VISWAS (Vivekananda Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences)- Year 2009- The citation was presented by Shri M. C. Bhandare, the then Governor of Odisha.
Ghungroo Saraswat Sanman year 2012- In recognition of the contribution for the development of farmers in Odisha- In recognition of the contribution for the development of farmers in Odisha.
Maharaja Pratap Kesari Deo Sanman- year 2012- for his contribution towards rural development and to materialize the concept of Gram Swaraj through the GaunliVichar publication.
Golden Jubilee Award of Mahavir SanskrutikAnusthan (MSA), Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, year 2013 for his contribution to the development of Farmers and Rural Development
THINK ODISHA LEADERSHIP AWARD -YEAR 2013- This award instituted by The Times of India and TEFLAS for his contribution to his outstanding Social work in Odisha.

Best Farmer at State Level: Shri KesabaBudhia – 2007 Kanakpur, Kalahandi, for his pioneering role in promotion of SRI
